The causes in the female include hormonal disturbances and anovulation like in PCOS, endometriosis, tubal disease, uterine problems and problems related to sex. In the male, the causes include reduced or absent sperm count, motility, increase in abnormal forms of the sperm as well as problems relating to erection and ejaculation.
